Job Summary:
We have an opportunity for an Account Supervisor to manage the day-to-day activities on account team(s) and projects located within our Austin Office. This person will participate in new business development and support organizational initiatives, as well as coach and mentor junior-level staff.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Experience in at least two of the following areas of PR: Consumer, Corporate, Energy and Technology.
• Develops and cultivates relationships with Client(s) and external audiences.
• Oversees day-to-day Client projects to ensure the quality of work meets Client’s expectations and the Client’s business objectives are achieved.
• Maintains clear and consistent communication between Client(s) and account team members.
• Provides proactive strategic counsel and communications planning.
• Demonstrates knowledge of digital and social media landscape.
• Develops written materials on complex issues (e.g. key messages, Q&A, speeches, press releases, blog posts) and can maintain an ongoing news bureau, speakers’ bureaus and thought leadership program.
• Cultivates positive Client presence in relevant media (traditional and digital).
• Demonstrates proven financial performance management (e.g., client budgets, team capacity planning and vendor management).
• Coaches and mentors junior staff and reviews their work for accuracy.
• Researches, develops, and presents new business proposals.
