Job Description: Hahn Public Communications is looking for a go-getting, fun-loving, goal-oriented, knowledge-seeking, no-drama individual to join our team to provide excellent communications and project management services to a variety of clients in the real estate, food, transportation, utility, healthcare and education industries.   • Project management skills:
    • Ability to juggle multiple clients and multiple projects each day
    • Ability to delegate tasks and assign reasonable timelines to your team
    • Willingness to do whatever it takes to ensure deadlines are met
    • Proactive approach and responsiveness to client needs
    • Ability to convey new ideas to the team
    • A sense of when to ask for help
    • Ability to develop estimates and manage client/project budgets
    • Ability to identify new business opportunities among existing clients

  • Candidate Qualifications:
  • Two to six years of communications/public relations experience:
    • Preferably with a minimum of one year at a PR or communications firm
    • Creative thinking and an inquisitive mind
    • Experience writing (in AP style):
      • Press releases and fact sheets
      • Blog posts or short articles
      • Social media posts and other forms of writing
    • An ability to self-edit writing materials and proofread documents
    • Comfort pitching the media
    • An ability to utilize multiple forms of social media 
    • Experience working directly with clients and subject-matter experts
    • Experience with developing campaign summaries
    • Experience with Apple hardware and Microsoft Office and Adobe software
    • An ability to work autonomously and in group settings
    • Event coordination experience a plus
    • A degree in PR, journalism, marketing, communications or related field
